Summer 2004, the school organized a pupil committee and consultation group to explore what they would like to do to improve their playground. The result was a report and application, put together by the children, for a Woolworths children's fund. The Facility and Inspire (The Learning Trust) have been working with the school community over the last year to complete their optimistic and enthusiastic "wish-list". The playground has received shortlisting for the hackney design awards.
